Le championnat local d'Aveiro, communément appelé Aveiro Liga, est le championnat local de la ville d'Aveiro et de sa banlieue. Crée en 1924 a l'initiative des premiers clubs de la ville, il s'agit d'une des plus anciennes compétitions de la région de Pumacana, et d'une institution de la ville d'Aveiro. Progressivement, avec l'apparition de divisions a l'échelle de la région ainsi que de divisions a l'échelle simtopiennes, le championnat perdra ses clubs les plus prestigieux et se transformera progressivement en un championnat pour les clubs de seconde zone d'Aveiro, en constituant l'une des poules de la sixième division à Pumacana, la dernière de l'échelon régionale.
